Charoite

Charoite is a purple and lavender colored silicate mineral with swirling pearl essence like patterns. It comes from the Siberia region of Russia near the Chara river which gives charoite its name.

Charoite is one of the most recently discovered gemstones which was first described in 1978. There is only the location in Russia where it comes from at the present time.
