Picture Jasper

Picture jasper is a tan, beige and light brown colored form of chalcedony quartz and morganite. The colors are often arranged in patterns which resemble a desert landscape. The patterns are most noticeable in larger cut stones.

Picture jasper has similar patterns to sandstone but jasper is much harder and takes a good polish.

Picture jasper is available as pendants, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, animal carvings hearts and other specimens.
