Seraphinite is a greenish white gemstone with feathery inclusions. It is these feathers which gave seraphinite its name whose root comes from ancient Hebrew and refers to a fiery winged angel.


Seraphinite is a form of chlorite. While it is not a hard stone it does hold up well in normal jewelry use. Seraphinite is a stone that is coming from Eastern Siberia in Russia.
