Sodalite

Sodalite is a royal blue stone that sometimes gets mistaken for lapis lazuli. Both have a rich blue color and can have calcite interspersed throughout the stone. One way to tell the difference between them is that sodalite rarely has iron pyrite inclusions and they are almost always seen in lapis.

Most sodalite at the present time comes from Canada in Ontario and Quebec and from Brazil.

All the blue stones including sodalite are considered to be helpful for increasing the intuition.
